Meet The Face Behind Stacy’s Helping Hand
I’m Pam Silverberg, the proud owner of Stacy’s Helping Hand.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
After my Uncle had a fall and was diagnosed with dementia, it was a stressful time for the whole family. I was made responsible for placing him in a suitable care facility. However, I found myself in a challenging situation as I didn’t know where to start. After moving my Uncle several times, I eventually met Stacy, who showed me how to evaluate assisted living facilities which I found extremely helpful.
I started to work side-by-side with her and realized just how much I enjoyed empowering people. So, I became a certified senior advisor (CSA) and recently obtained my CPRS (Certified Placement and Referral Specialist) designation, which enhanced my credentials.
In 2013, Stacy decided to move, and so I took over the business. Since taking over the reins, I’ve continued to maintain high levels of quality when meeting with clients and helping them identify the best care facilities.
I work with integrity, and I believe what sets me apart is my compassion as I take the time to empathetically listen to seniors and their families.
I also attribute my success in offering a follow-up service for three months to alleviate the stress and help with the transition of seniors. It’s an approach that has made me successful and earned a lot of praise.
I can fondly remember a senior giving me an angel with a message that said, “always there, listening with a willing ear and an open heart.” It’s receiving this kind of feedback that makes my role rewarding.
When I’m not offering senior placement assistance, I love playing tennis, walking, skiing, spending time with family and friends, and being part of a book club.
I’m also president of my trade association, as I feel that we should all follow best practices when entrusted to serve the public.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
